  • Q

What’s included in the market price?

    A

The market price includes the MSP house and essential appliances (lights, air conditioner, and water heater). It does NOT cover delivery/transportation to your location or crane services for unloading the MSP from the truck and positioning it. These services can be quoted and added to your invoice, or you may arrange transportation independently.

    Additional costs to consider:

Foundation: Concrete slabs or footings/piers. The MSP house is designed with anchoring points.

Connection of services: (electricity, sewer or septic, and water) We recommend hiring a licensed electrician and plumber or a general contractor for these connections.

  • Q

How long does it take to receive my MSP house?

    A

The standard lead time is typically 60 days from the date we receive your deposit and signed documents. However, various factors can affect this timeline, including the time of year, model selected, number of units ordered, custom upgrades, local permitting processes, required engineered drawings, and the distance from the manufacturing facility. We strive to build, deliver, and install your MSP house in a timely manner. Extreme circumstances, such as natural disasters or pandemics, may lead to extended lead times. Please consult our team for specific timelines related to your project.

  • Q

What preparations are needed for land and delivery?

    A

Determine Location: Choose where you want to place the MSP house. A land survey may be necessary to identify the optimal site.

Preparing a Foundation: It’s advisable to prepare a foundation and ensure utilities are accessible for connections upon delivery. The type of foundation should be determined based on local terrain, ideally with the help of a general contractor or civil engineer.

Anchoring Requirements: Check local building regulations to see if anchoring is required. If so, anchors can be added by a contractor; the MSP house is designed for this purpose.

Site Preparation: Clear the site of debris (e.g., tree stumps, trash) and ensure a pathway for the delivery vehicle.

Delivery Access: The building will be delivered via a heavy-duty truck and long tilt-bed trailer, requiring a clear 3m wide, relatively straight path from a paved road. Avoid obstacles that could hinder navigation, such as fences, trees, or underground systems.

Irrigation Considerations: Avoid excessive irrigation before delivery, as heavy vehicles may leave tire tracks in soft ground.

Utility Installation: Plumbing, electricity, and AC are pre-installed in the MSP house and will need to be connected on-site. It’s recommended to have a professional contractor present to ensure proper installation.

  • Q

    What about transportation?

    A

Transportation: MSP houses are transported using a standard semi-trailer for local deliveries and in a 40-foot FLAT RACK container for overseas shipments.

Hoisting: Upon arrival, the MSP house will need to be lifted using a local crane. The house weighs between 6 to 10.5 tons, so a crane with a capacity of over 25 tons is recommended for safe loading and unloading.

  • Q

Can I customize my MSP house?

    A

Yes, we offer a range of customization options for your MSP house. You can choose different layouts, finishes, and upgrades based on your preferences. Please discuss your specific requirements with our team to explore the available options.

  • Q

What maintenance is required for my MSP house?

    A

MSP houses require minimal maintenance, similar to traditional homes. Regular checks on plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances are recommended. Additionally, keep the exterior clean and inspect for any wear or damage. We also suggest seasonal maintenance to ensure everything remains in good working order.

  • Q

Can I relocate my MSP house in the future?

    A

Yes, MSP houses are designed to be portable. If you decide to relocate, we recommend hiring professionals for safe disassembly, transportation, and reinstallation. Ensure that your new site meets all local regulations and has the necessary utilities in place for a smooth transition.
